League Of Conservation Voters

We knew Fox News had some dirty tricks up its sleeve, but this week's news is really low.
Our friends at Media Matters for America reported that the Managing Editor of FOX News' Washington, D.C. office sent an email during the Copenhagen climate talks instructing FOX reporters to "refrain from asserting that the planet has warmed (or cooled) in any given period without IMMEDIATELY pointing out that such theories are based on data that critics have called into question."
We've had enough! LCV is taking on FOX News and any other media companies that parrot Big Oil's talking points and fail to honestly report the threat posed by the climate crisis. We are keeping the pressure on but we need your help getting the resources to keep up the fight. With just two weeks until the New Year, the best thing you can do is to make a donation of $5 or more and become a member.
For months, right-wing mouthpieces like Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and Sarah Palin have tried to erode public support for sound clean energy and climate policies by spreading false and misleading information about climate science. Now we have solid evidence that FOX News orchestrated and supported these efforts to confuse and mislead Americans about the devastating effects of climate change.
We can aggressively counter the right-wing propaganda machine by first exposing their lies and then sharing the real facts about climate change, but we can't do it without your support.

Thank you for all that you do for the environment.
Sincerely,
Gene Karpinski
