USAction

We are on a roll! The Wisconsin governor's attack on unionized middle-class employees woke a lot of us up, and people in every state turned out in the streets over the weekend to resist the corporate takeover of their governments.

USAction and our affiliate groups were in the middle of it from coast to coast. Here are members of our West Virginia Citizen Action Group rallying in Charleston, and the Washington, D.C. rally featuring USAction’s Executive Director Jeff Blum.

President William McNary electrified a crowd in Chicago organized by Citizen Action/Illinois, and out in the west United Vision for Idaho organizers worked the media and emaii lists and put together a rally of 500 in that conservative state.

Thanks to the immediate support of USAction/TrueMajority members, we exceeded our goal for last week's fundraiser, and some of that money already is on the way to Citizen Action of Wisconsin, which has been on the front lines since the beginning. We also need to support our friends in Ohio, where the next fight is already underway as their governor launches HIS "copycat" attack on middle class jobs. The rallies in Columbus have already begun.

Thanks for being part of this moment. This is when the momentum shifts back to the people.

Given everything that is happening, we've set a new fundraising goal of $40,000. If you haven't put your support behind this work yet, please join in today. Every day is important in this struggle — Ohio needs our help today, next up might be Maine, or Florida, or your own state. Help us be ready.
