Charles Woodson Sends Support to Wis. Workers

Corner back Charles Woodson of the Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers today announced his support of the Wisconsin workers protesting Gov. Scott Walker’s (R) assault on good jobs and collective bargaining rights.
“Thousands of dedicated Wisconsin public workers provide vital services for Wisconsin citizens,” he said. “They are the teachers, nurses and child care workers who take care of us and our families. These hard working people are under unprecedented attack to take away their basic rights to have a voice and collectively bargain at work.”

Last week, Packers Curtis Fuller, Charles Jordan, Bob Long, Steve Okoniewski, Brady Poppinga, Jason Spitz and Chris Jackie also sent their strong support to their protesting brothers and sisters.
