On Saturday 6/18/2011 Wisconsin State Senator Ron Johnson, Tea Party favorite, was interviewed about Pres. Obama's Health Care Reform and talked about how it is going to cost over a Trillion Dollars to the tax payers. Well first of all no one has been able to show in writing how it will cost anything other than the time and money that was spent to get it passed. Health Care Reform is just that, Health Care Reform.
Johnson went on to say how no employers will ever do away with their Employer sponsored Health Care Programs. Keep in mind that this comes from a State that has declared War on Labor, trying to do away with Unions. Well once again the GOP are full of lies. Employers have been coming after Labor in America for years trying to do away with their Health Benefits among other things. The proof is in the pudding. Take 300 million people, put them into one Health Care Plan and it will drive costs down. This is the only cost associated to Reform. This is what the GOP doesn't want. This will hurt the people who support the GOP.
One of the biggest cost related to Health care is people without Health Insurance. The tax dollars that would be used for National Health Care would be minimal compared to do nothing to get all Americans insured.
So next time you see one of the GOP members lips moving, lies are being told.
