Payback for Scott Walker‏

Dear Voters,
We're getting slammed with requests to help stop anti-worker politicians – and we need your help.
Our fiscal year fundraising deadline is just days away.
Were you furious with Governor Scott Walker's attacks on workers? So were Wisconsin voters.
Now it's payback time. In August, voters will decide whether to kick out six of the Wisconsin state senators who forced through Walker's bill to end collective bargaining rights for public workers.
Walker and his corporate backers could lose the Senate – and their power over the rights of Wisconsin's workers – if they lose just three of those seats.
With this critical Wisconsin election just weeks away, we're getting flooded with requests for help. If we can raise $10,000 by Thursday, we can make a big difference in Wisconsin and other state-level fights.
We'll only get there if people like you step up. Help us make it to $10,000 by midnight on June 30.
If Wisconsin's voters succeed in ousting Scott Walker's cronies, it could shift the balance of power out of his hands. If they don't, Walker is ready to pass even worse anti-worker laws.
And the attacks don't stop with Walker and Wisconsin. Lawmakers in New Jersey, Ohio, and New Hampshire are doing everything they can to limit the collective bargaining rights of their workers.
Help us stand up against these attacks. Donate now.
Stuart, we're just days away from finalizing our budget for the next fiscal year, and we need to know if we can continue resourcing the fight for workers' rights everywhere it's needed.
Because of the support from activists like you, in the past few months alone we've:
  • Shaped the debate in the media by placing hundreds of letters to the editor in key battleground states across the country.
  • Provided critical outreach for teach-ins on 265 campuses, where activists gathered to discuss and respond to the assault on workers.
  • Mobilized over 850 experts from the business world and academia to support collective bargaining rights.
  • Armed hundreds of activists on the ground with resources to mobilize and defend workers' rights.
Right now is a time of incredible need – but we have the opportunity to make a difference in a pivotal moment. And supporters like you will make sure we can respond when we're needed most.
We have until Thursday at MIDNIGHT: Help us protect basic rights for America's workers across the country.
Thanks so much for everything you do.
Liz, Hilary, Beth, Zoe, Michael, and the American Rights at Work team
