I keep hearing President Obama and the Republican Party saying that they are doing the bidding of the American People. The problem is that neither side is helping anyone but themselves. Sixty-seven percent of Americans are now saying NO to cuts in Social Security and Medicare, get out of Iraq and Afghanistan and the rich must pay thier share of our Nations Tax burden.
First of all Social Security and Medicare is not going under and both are solvent for many years. This is a Myth that the Republicans and Tea Party members have came up with to support thier Agenda. Second if the United States would get out of both Wars it would save three billion dollars a week. Now thats a real saving. Do the math. And third there are billions of dollars to be collected if the Rich pay thier fair share. The Rich in America are enjoying the lowest tax rates they have paid for many, many years.
So if you dont think balancing the budget on the backs of the Middle Class, working Poor and the poor then please write your Congressman and the White House and tell them what you think. We can make a difference.
