Hot Coffee Lawsuit Not Frivolous After All? Susan Saladoff
I just finished watching the documentary "Hot Coffee" and I can honestly say that I am ashamed that I, a person who considers themselves to be fairly well educated and aware of domestic and world issues, totally missed the boat on this one. I guess the punchline was easier than researching the truth. The truth behind this story is UGLY. And the ugly part is us. We, as a nation enjoy so many privileges and freedoms. Disgustingly enough, however, we fail to miserably when it comes to defending those rights and privileges. Worse yet, we are too lazy to realize or care when those rights are blatantly being violated. Over and over and over again. I guess it's just easier to bend over and stick our heads' up our collective a**es. Shame on us, all of us. Resolve: let's show, not just tell, our children, of the rights and freedoms that they have had the privilage of being born into. Stop the lawsuit caps!!!!!!
