If you own Walmart shares, you've probably gotten your proxy ballot in the mail by now. This year, more than ever, its important we use our right to vote as shareholders to send a message to Walmart that we are tired of Executives playing by a different set of rules than Associates and sweeping problems under the rug.

It's really important that we use our voice as Walmart Associate shareholders to vote FOR proposal 6 on executive compensation. It's time to put an end to rewarding executives with bonuses when the company performs poorly.

What's more, in the aftermath of the reported Mexico corruption scandal and cover up many shareholders' groups are voting AGAINST board members that were implicated. Among them is CEO Mike Duke and board chairman Rob Walton.

This scandal has caused tremendous harm to Walmart and all of us who have tried to make it a better company for our customers, our communities and ourselves. We can no longer trust our future with this leadership.

Given this important moment, we must vote our shares in this year's proxy. If you have yet to receive a proxy in the mail, please do one of the following:

1. Call Home Office at 1-800-WALMART and request they send one to you in the mail.

2. Vote on the internal wire.
