Springfield - The clock is ticking for Quinn to sign the medical marijuana bill.
The bill was signed by legislation back in May, and sent to the governor's office in June. Now Quinn has until August 4th to sign the bill.
If the bill is not signed by then it will automatically become law. The bill is a 4 year pilot program which would allow people suffering from specific medical conditions, such as cancer, multiple sclerosis, and HIV/AIDS, to use medical marijuana if their doctors recommend it.
