Tell Congress: Label Genetically Engineered Food please share it helps!     Dear Stuat, Ninety-three percent of Americans support it. Sixty-four countries do it. Something that popular should have no problem passing through Congress, right? Not if it's labeling genetically engineered (GE) foods. Tell Congress we have a right to know what's in our food. A bill that would require GE labeling has been introduced in Congress. Despite being immensely popular, the legislation could still fail. Monsanto and friends have legions of lobbyists and bottomless coffers, and they're doing everything in their power to buy our democracy. Take back our democracy. Stand up for food justice. Demand to know what's in our food. There are numerous health and environmental concerns with GE foods, including increased pesticide use. As farmers use more pesticides, superweeds resistant to these pesticides emerge, causing farmers to resort to even more powerful and dangerous chemicals. Take a stand for GE labeling and help put an end to this vicious cycle of pesticide use. We have a right to know what's in our food. Tell Monsanto we're not backing down.
