Citizen Action/Illinois Congratulates Our Winning Endorsed Candidates for Chicago Municipal Elections
(CHICAGO) – William McNary, Co-director of Citizen Action/Illinois said regarding yesterday’s election, “This is a new direction for the city of Chicago. This is about two competing visions: Are we going to have a city that works for the wealthy few, or are we going to have a Chicago that's going to work for all of us? The everyday working families who live, work, and go to school in the neighborhoods of Chicago spoke out yesterday. The momentum is growing for change. On April 7th every neighborhood will count, and every vote will count.”
