This Week with Christiane Amanpour marks the passing of the Founding Director of the Peace Corps and former Ambassador R. Sargent Shriver. In addition, in the last two weeks, the Pentagon has released the names of eighteen service members killed in Iraq and Afghanistan:
US Army SGT Ethan C Hardin, 25, Fayetteville, ARAccording to iCasualties, the total number of allied service members killed in Iraq is 4,754; in Afghanistan, 2,308, of which 154 are Canadian. Iraq Body Count lists 189 Iraqi civilians killed in the last two weeks.
