Ohio’s new Republican leadership has declared war on working families. They’ve done so under the guise of “solving our state’s budget crisis,” but the truth is much more sinister. The real object of this assault on collective bargaining is to allow their powerful special interest friends even more influence by drowning out the voices of working people.
But I didn’t take the oath of office four years ago to watch anti-worker Republicans devastate the lives of the hardworking Ohio families I represent with their shady power plays. I’m going to fight for our public workers for as long as it takes -- will you stand with me today?
